JULY 2024

It’s been… awhile.

Things have progressed! And in a direction, that’s for sure. Okay, look. I have a problem. I don’t often feel like I have interesting things to talk about. Which is just SILLY, cuz I’m always doing something.

Speaking of, in between now and the last update, I wrote a new book!

HOWEVER!!!!

Save some money and buy it here, and I’ll throw in the first seven chapters of Book 2 in the Circle of Origin series FOR FREE! A nice little sneak peek of things to come….

Go ahead and subscribe while you’re there!

Each comes in multiple colors and sizes, so pick your poison. Want to see something specific on a shirt? Shoot me a message and we’ll see if we can’t make it work!

While work on Book 2 is going strong, I’ve taken on another side project to help me learn how to write large amounts of prose in short periods of time: an episodic LITRPG called ‘Souls of Teravitum’.

THE BLURB

The year is 2035. Overpopulation, increasingly unpredictable weather, and unchecked pollution have driven people indoors, and the psychological effects of being separated from their peers has inspired many to find refuge in online video games. Two years ago, as though somehow predicting the coming need for personal connection and freedom, a relatively obscure software development company called Solace deployed a massively multiplayer online world that allowed people to play together from all over the world. Every major game console, computer, and even various degrees of VR shared the same digital space. The game was a massive success, and within a few short years, Solace had purchased most of their competition and put them to work on improving their creation.

That game is Teravitum.

Now, while the vast majority of players choose to log into the world of Teravitum day in and day out, a young man named Vannin Garrett wasn’t given the same option. As one of few ‘permanent residents’ of the game, he doesn’t know how he got there, how long he’s been there, and he especially doesn’t know how to log out. To him, living in this virtual world is almost indistinguishable from the real world.

That’s what he thinks, at least. He can’t exactly remember. Still, he knows he’s in a game. He knows that nothing he’s experiencing is real. Is a life constructed of lies really worth living, even if it appears as though it’s the only life available to you?

Our story begins just moments before Vannin’s death, and while it won’t be his first, it will take every ounce of strength he possesses to ensure it’s his last…

The Prologue for ‘Souls of Teravitum’ is already up on the Circle of Origin Patreon, and chapters – for the foreseeable future – will be free and available for anyone subscribed to the Patreon.
