You may not know just how important reviews (not just ratings) are to authors. Reviews help convince new readers to take a chance, and with enough reviews, Amazon will begin suggesting my book to new readers without me having to pay for marketing. If you’re roughly halfway through a book or even further, considering taking the time to hop on Amazon and drop a one to two sentence review. It really helps!
We soared past 150 sold copies just after the turn of the month, and are pushing into the 170s now. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me enough to take a chance.
Work has already begun on Book 2, and my patreon supporters can expect advance chapters to show up in their feeds in the next week or so. I’m still fiddling with the outline, but I’m feeling really good about where everything is headed. You can expect a dramatic increase in magical lore, a run-in with a true villain, some hard lessons for our party, and not a small amount of heartache. I won’t give away too much, but it’s important to remember that sometimes a person learns the most from losing…
